The team catered our wedding and it was without a doubt the most fantastic experience. We organised a homegrown wedding with a marquee in the family home and for such a stressful event to organise, Spitting Pig Birmingham and their incredible staff made it all run so seamlessly. The canapes were delicious and the hog roast was the star of the show! Everyone was in awe of the food served at the wedding and still 8 months later we get people coming up to us reminiscing of the food.
For anyone who is organising a wedding and looking for a caterer – we genuinely cannot recommend this team anymore. Not only was it delicious, but the professionalism shown by staff and their ability to keep the show running (for 140 guests) was mighty impressive.
One final comment – for anyone who is anxious about having a hog roast for their wedding meal and are wondering whether or not it will work – listen to Spitting Pig Birmingham and his staff who will give recommendations on what will work best. The Hog roast was an exceptional part of our wedding and we wouldn’t have chosen it any other way.

We had an amazing meal prepared for 34 people. It was delicious, we all love Hog Roasts and it was devoured by all. We were away for the weekend for birthday celebrations and this really made it perfect. Would highly recommend.

We cannot speak higher of Spitting Pig Birmingham’s catering. We asked them to cater our wedding, after lots of last minute changes, and they were fantastic. The team put us completely at ease, answering any questions we had really quickly, and made a special fuss of us on the day too.
The food was soooooo good, our guests still talk to us about that pie!

I contacted The Spitting Pig Company in December 2023 to see if they can help me with my works party. The team contacted me with a range of menus which all sounded delicious! It was a hard decision picking just one but we went with the Classic Hog Roast! The communication was fantastic and very helpful. The team arrived on time and got on without making a fuss. We had a few vegan guests and they absolutely loved the jackfruit option provided. The hog roast was delicious-the crackling was definitely a guest favourite. The whole day’s food was unreal, from the start of the canapes to the last plate in the evening!
