Lauren and her husband are getting married this December and are finally able to say that all of the planning and preparations are complete. The pair have been organising their wedding for all of 2023, with the hope that their big day will be perfect in every way. Since their wedding is taking place in the winter, they wanted to hire a caterer who could warm the guests up with some delicious comfort food. Luckily for them, Hog Roast Gilberstone has plenty of delicious and warming menus to choose from! It was decided that we would serve a classic hog roast buffet style at the reception, with a few additional dishes to ensure that there is something for all 130 guests to enjoy.
In preparation for this reception, the Hog Roast Gilberstone team will arrive at the venue in the afternoon to give us plenty of time to slow-roast the hog before the 7:00pm serving time. All of our dishes will be cooked on-site, including the delicious and succulent pork, veggie sausages, and marinated chicken kebabs. The mains will be served in fresh bread rolls and accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be providing homemade chips and a selection of seasonal salad dishes to create a well-rounded evening meal. Our catering is sure to be a great addition to this event and is bound to warm up the guests on the cold December evening.
