With Sarah’s 50th birthday approaching this September, she contacted Ho
g Roast Rubery to arrange catering for her birthday party. She had planned to host a celebration with friends and family, using a marquee on a field close to her home for the venue. For the entertainment, Sarah had arranged for live music to take place during the first half of the party, followed by a DJ after the catering had been enjoyed. As for the menu, it was decided that our classic Hog Roast Rubery slow-roasted hog option was ideal for the occasion.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Rubery team arrived at the venue and got to work preparing the catering. We began by roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and homemade applesauce. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a great veggie alternative to pulled pork. As well as the mains, we also served a selection of seasonal salad dishes and homemade chips to create a varied and delicious menu. Our catering was a great addition to Sarah’s party and went down well with the guests. It was an ideal way to break up the event and to separate the entertainment options.
