Last weekend, the carnival came to town, and our Hog Roast Sparkhill team is still buzzing with the vibrant energy of the event. With Christmas on the horizon, events like these are a sure fire way to immerse anyone in the festive spirit.

The bright lights, nostalgic tunes resonating from fairground rides, the laughter of children, and the aroma of delicious food creates a magical combination that’s hard to resist. So, when the news of the carnival reached us, and there was a spot in our diary, there was absolutely no doubt in our minds – Hog Roast Sparkhill had to make an appearance!

Our dedicated team of caterers arrived on-site early in the afternoon, prepared to tackle the busy crowds with our sensational spit roast. After setting up the gazebo and firing up the grill, our team swiftly dove into food prep.

The focal point of our menu was the hog, which we meticulously prepared by scoring the skin and rubbing it with salt before slow-cooking it over real flames. As the flames danced around, the pork took on a mesmerising golden hue, and the skin bubbled and crisped, creating the delectable crackling that Hog Roast Sparkhill is renowned for.

As darkness fell, the venue came alive with bright lights, music, and the chatter of families, couples, and groups of friends. The atmosphere filled our team with excitement, and guests were drawn to the enticing aroma of the hog roast. They happily queued up, eager to taste our creations.
