Alicia runs a craft club locally and co-ordinated a craft fair with the help of her members. The fair was being hosted as a way for the group to showcase their skills, as well as a way for them to earn some extra income before Christmas. As well as benefiting the members, it would also provide visitors with a chance to buy any Christmas gifts and cards and support local people. Alongside the stalls, the fair also included music from a local choir, who were happy to perform a selection of Christmas carols during the day. On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Wednesbury team arrived at the venue with plenty of time to set up our station. The buffet was to be served between 12:00 and 3:00, giving the guests plenty of time to grab a tasty lunch and enjoy the stalls. We began our food preparation by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit. Our menu was a great addition to the event and was the ideal lunch for guests to enjoy on a breezy afternoon!
