Birthday Dining For The Kids And The Adults With Hog Roast Aldridge!

Hog Roast AldridgeWhen it is your birthday there is nothing more exciting as a child than your birthday party, and when you are having a brilliant party at home with all of your friends and family invited there is little better than also getting to enjoy a lot of great food too. Even for a child the prospect of a Hog Roast Aldridge buffet should be exciting, because it is lots of your favourite delicious foods – burgers, sausages, chips, even mini pizzas. That is why Linda, a longtime customer of ours, opted to bring Hog Roast Aldridge out to her eight-year-old daughter’s birthday last weekend. With all of her classmates coming as well as cousins, aunties, granny and grandpa, Linda needed a big menu to be served at without any hassle. She didn’t have the space nor the time to cook for that many people in her own home, and set it up for them in her home during the party too, so she came to a caterer that she has relied upon at parties before – Hog Roast Aldridge!

Hog Roast AldridgeTo have something for both the kids and the adults to enjoy, we opted for our a mix of our barbecue menu with some of our canapes thrown in too to act as lighter snacks for all throughout the party. That meant we had a table of lovely snack bites as guests arrived, including mini quiches, the aforementioned mini pizzas, our Indian snack selection, mini beer battered fish and chips, and chicken satay skewers. Our chef meanwhile prepped our barbecue out in the garden (which thankfully the weather held up to do, although we do have alternative options to still cook up our barbecue even if it is raining. The kids swarmed our head chef, all jumping to get their hands on a burger or sausage, and they could only be placated by the selection of fries and roast potatoes also available to the side. A couple of course had to be coaxed into putting some salad and fresh coleslaw on their plate too.

Based on just the brief moments of quiet from the kids when they were eating, we reckon it was a job well done for Hog Roast Aldridge!
